Tuesday 110322

Morning:
1A. Strict Pull up Ladder (And a Half)
With a continuously running clock, perform 1 strict pull up the first minute, 2 strict pull ups the second minute, 3 the third minute, and so on until you are unable to complete the required reps in a minute. Upon failing, immediately start back at one and try to reach the halfway point without missing.

2A. Repeat 800's
Two rounds, each for time of:
800 Meter Run
Rest 3 Minutes

Optional:
3A. CFO WOD (during any regular class)
Push Jerk 5-5-5-5-5 reps

Post last minute reached, if you got back to halfway point, 800 meter times, and weights used to comments.

Only made it thru round 8 of strict pullups and then back thru 4.

800 meter runs were tough. I think I finished the first one in 2:50ish and the second one in 3:08 or so. Nice change of pace to get outside for 800's even though I stink at running.

I did Strict Pull ups,

10 rounds plus 8 pull ups,
then made it back through 6 rounds.

I was told I was doing a little kip at the top of my pull up so I need to work on keeping my legs straight. The teacher became the student. Thanks Jen.

Then took on the horrible, thruster push press workout.

10:58. Yikes, this one is totally something that I need to work on.

I made it through 7 rounds of strict pullups. The first 4 were unbroken. I then made it back through 5 rounds.

Runs were 3:12 and 3:10. I rested 2:48 after first one and had Damian ahead of me on his bike on the second half of the second run so I think that helped push me to run faster.

runs were not timed.

Did the runs first and that all the way down the street thing was hard, mostly cause of the thirty mile an hour head wind on the way back. 3:18, and3:22. Pullups got to 9 and then back up to 6.

I wanted to tell you guys that I haven't abandond you. 7am is my wifes workout time and I watch the kids. I will continue to do these workouts as long as I can but it just isn't the same without you guys. I will keep posting so you all know I didn't just quit

Strict pullups:
Got to 7 rnds but only got 5 out of 7, started over, got to 6rnds, 4 out of the 6.

Runs:
2:55 first 800
3:12 second 800.
Ran at 0 and 6 min on a running clock.
Everyone was right, that wind sucked!
